Well. I went into flash mode for a week (probably less then a week) and coded this game, then made an enthusiastic journal post. Then after hours of debugging, not getting it quite right yet, I didn't bother to upload it because it wasn't fixed yet, but I didn't bother to fix it either, so it has been sitting here on my hard-drive doing nothing for awhile. Instead of spending more time on fixing it, I just decided to upload it as it is. You can refresh the page and discover all the wonderful glitches!

Anyways, you can move around, pick up stuff, equip and use health potions, and limited interaction with things. Fun fun fun. This is really my attempt at a more complex inventory system, and I learned a lot more about arrays as well. Ideally I would fix all the bugs, create an additional 40 inv slots or whatever, then implement my platforming codes to create a bangin rpg. Too unmotivated to do it I guess. Oh, and I didn't use a tutorial for this, this is all from scratch.

Almost forgot! Under the inventory "i" there is a music box which can play a smattering of songs. That is something else I also got used to while making this, sound with code.
Oh yeah, I coded it so it wouldn't move if you had more then two arrow keys pressed, so if you tried to do a circle while moving, it would be choppy as you moved from pressing two arrow keys to another two. Probably an easy fix, thanks for mentioning. This whole flash is a glitch though (Grrr).
The music box didn't have some files get uploaded with it too, oh well. The quality is meh on it anyways.
